Clinical Interests

General dermatology, lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL), basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, immunotherapy.

Clinical Reponsibilities

Dr. Girardi’s clinical activities are centered around the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL), graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), nephrogenic systemic fibrosis (NSF), cutaneous lupus erythematosus, and cutaneous malignancies (melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma). Dr. Girardi’s principal research focus as a faculty member has been to investigate the relationship between the immune system and cancer from two complimentary perspectives: as a laboratory / translational investigator, and as a clinical scholar. Read more...
